Nathan is our little sprite. What a crack up! So good natured! When he wakes up in the morning and starts singing BINGO at the top of his lungs, we really don't mind. We hope, in jest, that he will never grow up and learn to enunciate his words, because the way he says some things ("o-tay" and "Aunt Beta") are soooo endearing to us. We shouldn't have worried too much last year about the tutus because although he still likes to put on Sarah's costumes, he demonstrates such "boyishness" now. EVERYTHING can become a sword, a bow and arrow, or a "shooter." I had such a great time sewing his Captain Moroni costume for Halloween, especially when he was fully arrayed. (It made me consider what potential my little children have to become noble men and women.)We're so glad he has Sarah to look up to and Julia to watch out for. His big heart encircles them both, and his bright mind keeps us all laughing. One of my favorites was when he mimicked Lane, saying, "Let's blow this popsicle stand!" (Translation: Let's go!). Contrasting with Julia, he's our "boomerang" sleeper: no matter how many times we put him back in his own bed, he always comes back to ours.
